Magestic penthouse in exclusive Fase 1 Playacar. This is the top condo, by stairs, in Castillo 2. Reserve more or all for larger parties up to 50. Prime location situated at the entrance of Fase 1, you are walking distance to everything. The beach is just 150 meters away, 5th Ave is around the corner and you have a little ocean view from the rooftop where you will find an ocean view and seating area and plunge pool. Pool is shared with the other condos in the building. Open concept and open air architecture provides a tropical breeze throughout the entire house. 24 hour security is just across the street and it is a gated community, so it is in an ultra safe area.  If you would like to bring a pet, just please note that it is an extra fee. It is a 33% refundable charge, $30 per pet per night ($10 refundable deposit and $20 fee). This is a separate charge from the reservation that you will need to ask for after you reserve. Keep in mind that we do not provide any groceries, drinking water or other beverages for you other than, oil, salt, pepper; so please arrange to order groceries from Chedraui's website before you arrive so that you will have everything you need when you check in. Please keep in mind that we do not provide groceries, drinking water, or other beverages, only basic essentials such as oil, salt, and pepper. We recommend planning a grocery trip to Chedraui after your arrival. It’s just a 2-minute cab ride, and taxis are usually waiting outside for your return. We do provide hand soap, dish soap, sponges, and towels, as well as shampoo in the showers. Each guest will have one bath towel and one beach towel. Note: This is the Penthouse unit, located up three flights of stairs. There is no elevator. To reach the front door, you'll walk along a narrow path beside the pool, please use caution, especially if the area is wet. Los Castillos Villas offer a unique and comfortable vacation experience in a prime location in Playa del Carmen. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2000, they may not feature the most modern amenities, but they’re spacious and ideal for large groups—accommodating up to 50 guests across multiple units. As with any older property in the Caribbean, ongoing maintenance is expected due to humidity, sunlight, and salty air. Our team, led by Danny, works hard to keep the villas clean and well-maintained and is ready to address any issues that arise during your stay. If you prefer a newer property, we do have other listings available. But if you appreciate the character and charm of a classic home, Los Castillos may be the perfect fit for your group. Please also note: We are connected to Airbnb through API software, which makes us responsible for any damages to the property. For this reason, a security deposit is required. You’ll have the option of either a fully refundable $500 USD deposit or a non-refundable $29 USD damage waiver fee, processed securely outside of Airbnb.
